Journal Week 49, December 2025
The first week of December, the last month of the year... It's been a long week, as I struggled with sleep, pain, and not finding my motivation. But, I tried to get some relaxing in. I tried to get some exercises in. I read, I puzzled, I even attemted to game a bit... Keep scrolling to see more of how this week went for me... Another week of mixed weather ahead. Colder days and nights, but not freezing (I hope), some rain, maybe a bit of sun as well... The end of autum and the start of winter are represented in this forecast. Although, I have to admit, no freezing nights (or days, for that matter) is very welcome to me. Quick links to the days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. That was a scare, I tell you! The vaporetto crashed into the Ponte delle Guglie while I was on my way back from Murano. I'm fine. The boat and bridge need some work. Buona sera, Mafalda Cinquetti from

Journal Week 48, November 2025
The last week of November... The end of the shitty year of 2025 is coming near. It was a week with several appointments, some outings, days where I felt OK, days where things were blh... I had Bas with me for two nights, even though mum's surgery had been canceled. A dear friend and I went to the Herperduin with her dog twice this week, which was very nice. I was less emotional than I had thought I'd be, but it did take some spoons from my little stack... The weather was all sorts this week, but all in all, I don't think it was too bad. I guess it was a rather decent mix this week, where I have been able to balance some between chores, exercises, relaxing, and such. Well, it's gonna be cold, wet, maybe a whisp of sun can be seen and felt... We're definitely getting closer to the dread of winter weather... Since my daughter started to draw on my notebook covers a while ago, plain covers wont do anymore. Sadly, she couldnt do it for my next diary so I broke out all my washi tape to at least have something going on.
If we have any chance of preserving the human voice against the chatbot of rejecting not just artificial intelligence as the supreme writer, but also refusing to have our own writing contribute to training A.I. its going to be through the pen and humble notebook. Its going to be, for most of us, through diaries.

Journal Week 47, November 2025
It was a week with some ups and downs. I struggled with my health, both physically and mentally. I realized that my trauma has left deeper scars in me than I thought, and I may need to find help to deal with it. I want to move forward, I want to look back with a smile and gratefulnes. But at the moment, it feels like I am caught in the past, dealing with self-inflicted guilt and shame... It was a pretty usual week otherwise, when it comes to appointments and chores... Some sad news at the end of the week, which threw me off a bit... But, unfortunately, it's all part of life and we "just" have to deal with it as it presents itself to us... Rain, colder days, some moments the app even shows some snow... Winter is definitely coming closer...
