Ars Technica wants us to believe that was cornered into reading his like its a . Because nothing says "serious journalism" like a grown man's bedtime ramblings being dissected by a jury of his peers .

There was a dude named Brandon who had a typomatic lexico-interface that longformed costume work in an anachronistic manner. The method of recreating an image of print-stuff evolved from an exploration of animal masks "in formalwear" that went undiscovered for many years due to the cost of developing film...

The same situation here. I have "diaries" for my appointments where I note the daily weather and very typical nature cycles, e.g. first bloom of dandelions, cherry, or elder trees, returning birds, birds leaving before the winter, etc. It's eye-opening to compare the years.
And I do something like you with my but it's less exact.

Journal Week 18, April/May 2026

The first full week with Koa in my life... Monday was a relaxing day, where we had no plans, after the busy weekend. Tuesday was a bit more exciting, as Nicole was coming to doggy sit, so that I coul visit the physio. Unfortunately, after that visit, my shoulder and chest muscles got a lot worse again... On Wednesday, Yolande and her son came to visit Koa (and me), so I could finally take some snaps of Koa and Yolande, and so that we could chat a bit more. Thursday morning was relaxed, and in the afternoon, mum and I took Koa to a store, which was very exciting for him. On Friday, mum came to doggy sit for me, so I could go to a few stores, and then visit the physio again. Koa slept a lot, so doggy-sitting wasn't too hard on her. The weekend, we had no plans, so we took it easy. And, Koa experienced his first thunderstorm (and he didn't like it at all). The first full week with my little dude went rather well. I am tired and sore, but I love that little dude so much already... (I just can't wait for him to start sleeping longer during the night, and to stop biting things he should not be biting in... But he's a puppy, so it all goes with the territory... Not complaining here, just some little wishes... ). This image is a 14-day weather forecast for Herpen, dated April 27, 2026, from the "weer & radar" app.The forecast is presented as a line graph tracking daily high and low temperatures over two weeks. "I calling her beggar, and she me pricklouse"

Frank exchanges are at the core of every healthy marriage, and you and your wife are doing well, Sam, very well. And "pricklouse" is excellent: your wife is even better with words than you are, Sam.

And I love how you're putting the entire episode into brackets! Without it, we merely read "So up and to my office () and there all the morning." The most subversive use of brackets imaginable.

Either way, your charming entry has made my Saturday morning blues go away. You are a good man, Sam.
