Frieze London diary: the yolk's on Sarah Lucas, the (sort of) masked drummer, and Marc Spiegler gets on his bike
In pictures: meet Frieze London's p(art)y people
Started on my first-ever anabolic steroid cycle, and for once I'm actually impressed: just 20 mg of dianabol over the past few days makes me subtly but noticeably toner and trimmer, and I feel really good too. Basically no side effects either, so far.
Frieze London Diary: Ryan Gander's playtime, Connor Brothers' soggy sunflowers and the return of The Secret Gallerist
Pleased to announce I'm now a platinum blonde and not just any platinum blonde, a full Jean Harlow platinum blonde! My colorist didn't hold back, and neither did my stylist: I look so totally Hollywood now I can't take it in.
10/6/2004: Photographer Richard Avedon died. He was one of the first to admit that still photography is a sin of omission. Its a cropping of time and context. Something always gets excluded and sometimes its the part thats true.
10/6/2024: These diary revisitations are an interesting way to see how art has evolved. The collage he made of Audrey Hepburn in 1967 is not unlike something that would be generated by AI. AI is essentially a collage technique without scissors and glue.

Each day, every day.

A quotation from Barrie, James:
The life of every man is a diary in which he means to write one story and writes another, and his humblest hour is when he compares the volume as it is with what he vowed to make it.
Full quote, sourcing, notes:
Went to a concert last night. They were awesome! 30yr anniversary of their first album and they can still put together a great show!
I finally managed to upgrade CPU cooler from AMD stock to a tower style one from Ant eSports. It was on sale and I found one which uses PWM instead of ARGB.
The temps using stock cooler used to hit 78C when gaming so I am hoping this would cool it.
I am stress-testing the CPU (as I type this) via stress -c 12 for Ryzen 5 5600.
From the prelims, I can see it hovering around 65C which is a huge improvement!
"And so by coach, though hard to get it, being rainy, home."
Let the grammarians complain, Sam, let them complain. This is a beautiful sententence, Sam, it lives.
And so by toot, though late, being a long day at work, I praise Sam Pepys.
The penultimate episode of our tour diary is out now
Somewhat surrealistic travel diary thing.
TFW you're seized by an idea for an entrepreneurial startup the very same day you're supposed to start studying for your real estate license.
Dreamed about my best friend with her husband and a carriage with a baby (she's childless IRL) surprising me with her presence in my hotel's lobby and hugging me! To the tune of bossa nova jazz (which I had on when I was asleep). Silly dream, but it was nice...
If I *did* put in concerted effort, therefore, the idea I could pass for a teenager really isn't far-fetched.
For reference, I'm 30, but seem to look much younger, and that's without even trying people often ask me questions that assume I'm about prime college-going age and everyone instantly gets this look of surprise on their faces when I tell them how old I really am.
Took my cute new athletic outfit from the gym straight to the restaurant and ended up being carded must make me look more youthful. The tan and the botox really help too. And I haven't even gone platinum blonde yet once that's done in a couple weeks I'll look even younger!

Update: visited today and it was love on first sight. I start training there tomorrow.
DiaryHelps too that if I'm paying triple-digit sums a month I want to go more often so I get my money's worth out of it. And I do want to go as often as I can stand it...I've got my dream body to build up to! Every little psychological trick helps...
Scoping out a new gym, and I'm settled on a fancy high-end one I like lots of group classes and being among beautiful elites, and even if I didn't the basic everyday gym aesthetic is so depressing to me I kinda have to go an expensive one.
Starting Diary 35 today.
Here is an example of how I usually do the monthly calendar and the weekly planner. No specific info on there yet, sorry! I used to do two-page calendar spread, but I've since changed how much information I need on it, so now it's fairly small with only some important stuff marked. I do more detailed tasks on the weekly page.

Day 3 of botoxed me, and I'm noticing I can hardly make my "11"s and my lines appear even if I try really hard! That smooth serene forehead even under stress is so improving me, inside and out. Can't wait until day 14, when the effect will peak...
