Calm
Miraculously, today was another calm day.Unbelivable. I took it easy for today and worked on updating my resume. Apparently, the new thing is putting it in ATS format or whatever so it can at least be seen by a human. I can only imagine the talent going to waste right now just because a potential best employee didn't use a few keywords and instead hiring a some dumb moron who just happened to align the right sequence of words to get the job. Finding A Job Shouldnt Be This Fuckin Hard
The last couple days have been uneventful, and in my life, an uneventful day, is a good day. I've still been moving my stuff in storage and looking for a job. Been denied at 2 spots, so that sucks. I think all the jobs might be dead leads actually. I've never lived in one place where it's so hard to get a fucking job!Can't get an entry level job, because I have too much experience. And can't get a mid-level job because there's 1,437,920 other candidates. Journal Week 34, August 2025
A week with some appointments, where I was allowed to drive again, and where we would be going to Greifenstein on Saturday for a week.
Less warm weather, some colder nights again, but it should be dry, so thats a good thing, especially for walkies with Bas and driving to Germany this Saturday

Nights are filled with sirens and shelters, days with research tasks that demand focus. Its difficult to write, analyse data, or prepare papers when missiles keep interrupting sleep. Conversations abroad about peace sound abstract, while here the routine is air raids and unfinished work. But nothing stops, life, and with it science, goes on. Fuck the occupiers.
