The Greenland Diaries follows a bank teller who is working one evening in West Saint Paul when a Drum starts playing in the background. The monsters that appear are utterly terrifying and unique. He begins journaling to save his sanity, and record what happens when humanity is hunted, killed, and reconstructed on a near nightly basis.

Journal Week 36, August/September 2026

It was yet another very mixed week. The weather went into all sorts of directions. Sunny, wet, windy, chilly... Well, my days went into all sorts of directions as well. On Monday, there was a difficult chat with my coach, but fortunately, a sweet friend came over to support me with it. Which was a very good thing, as she was able to explain some things way better than I could... Tuesday was physio day. On Wednesday, we had an easy day, where I tried to relax a bit. Thursday afternoon, mum came over, so that I could take a sleeping pill, so I could finally get a few hours of sleep. Mum spent the night, and in the morning, we went to the hospital for my therapy. Things didn't go too well with Koa, so that was a cause of some more stress. I had loads of stuggles, trying to get a few hours of sleep. On Sunday, a sweet friend came by, and the three of us went to the Herperduin. Which was very nice, but when we got back, I was super exhausted... So, of course I had troubles with my sleep again... I'm not sleeping much, and the sleep I do get is poor. It's mostly due to the pain. That doesn't help with resting or healing. I only slept for 2 hours..

My little notebook is close by so I can track when I can finally take something for the pain. It's been a very difficult end summer.

It's been quite an emotional and exhausting week. It started with the stress and anxiety over Koa and the plushies tail. I had physio on Tuesday. On Wednesday, mum and I went to the hospital. My splint got adjusted, which was very painful. I got some new exercises. And when we got back, two friends came over to meet Koa for the first time. On Thursday, I tried to relax a bit. I have not been sleeping too good at all, and with all the stress and emotions, I just felt so exhausted. Mum came over on Friday with some groceries. And she helped me so I could take a shower. I tried to relax during the weekend, but somehow, I kept feeling so terribly tired. Koa got spoiled on Sunday afternoon, as the neighbor and her son took him out on a nice walk.
