It's been quite a week... Dealing with my own health issues. Dealing with Koa's health issues, with an extra cause of worry being added to the pile of crap on Saturday to Sunday night. On Monday I visited the GP. We had a good talk, she ordered meds for me, and then the pharmacy did something that messed me up quite badly. The hospital was making a mess of things too, which got resolved on Tuesday, after causing quite a deal of stress as well. Wednesday, I needed to unwind from all the crap that had been happening the previous days. Thursday was OK enough, I guess. Friday, I went back to the hospital, where they made a few adjustments to my splint. It was a bit better now, but during the weekend, I noticed some other spots that weren't too comfy as well. On Friday to Saturday, Koa gave me a bit of a scare. When all seemed to be OK again, Koa "decided" to do the next dumb thing, which had me worried a lot, and when Sunday ended, it wasn't sure yet how this worrysome thing would end... Journal Week 33, August 2026
The week started with something very bad. Something that scared me, made me so ashamed, and had me crying at the weirdest moments. Tuesday went a wee bit better, but I still felt so numb. There was a physio appointment, which was very much needed. It was painful, but also helped my muscles to relax a bit. During the night, my cast was giving me painful issues, making me need to call the hospital on Wednesday. I had an appointment on Friday, but I didn't want to to have to deal with these pains till then. After any stressful, and very painful, hours, I got my cast replaced. Thursday, I tried to relax, as all the anxiety and pain had taken all available spoons from me. Friday was a long day. Therapy at the hospital in the morning, and Koa had a vet appointment in the afternoon. Poor dude... Due to Koa not behaving like his usual self during the night, I called the vet on Saturday morning, as I was worried about him. Sunday, I tried to keep going. I was very sore, and very tired, but glad that I now have a splint, as it does take some pain away. This week doesn't have too many pictures, as it's not that easy to take them when you only have one functioning hand (which is not working at 100%).
